Volunteering

We encourage our members to be active in supporting the Sanctuary, while also having fun and forming new friendships.

Our two most popular activities at the moment are our weekly Snorkelling and Beach Patrol litter collections. We would like to develop and train more leaders or assistant leaders for these groups.

Other areas in which we are seeking volunteer help include the following: regular fossil studies; regular bird watching in the sanctuary; submission, report, grant, letter writing; media and publicity; event organising; organising guest speakers; liaison person for particular groups; marine education and the history, water and shore/land features of the Marine Park; library collection (including photographs); park surveys; admin; IT.

Please click this link HERE if you would like to participate or become a leader in any of the above activities.
